Alvin Wray, left, of Wichita, Kansas owned this 1956 Chevrolet and drove it himself at Winfield, Kansas in 1968.  Alvin said the Winfield racetrack was so dusty that he never went back there to race again.  Roy Andrews, right, drove this car for Alvin a few times in 1967 and Bob Lawrence drove it once for Alvin at “81” Speedway, Wichita, Kansas in 1968.  Later in 1968, Alvin painted this car blue with white numbers - Roy Andrews collection
