These races were originally scheduled to be run on Saturday afternoon, July 21, 1928 but were rescheduled until the date above for an undetermined reason.  Several races were scheduled for this program but very little has been learned about any of them.  The following race results for the 14 cars entered, are what little is currently know about these races:

Ira Thomas McIntire of Arkansas City, Kansas was driving a Ford Rajo special #44 owned by Joe Hutchinson of Arkansas City, Kansas.  He won one preliminary race and finished in second place in another before he won the Sweepstakes race.

Russell Darius “R. D.” Hill of Arkansas City, Kansas entered his own Hill special Laurel Ford #15 in these races.  He finished in third place in one of those races but it has yet to be determined which of the races that was.

Forest Shipman “Blackie” O’Bannon, alias R. F. Dutton” of Arkansas City, Kansas entered his own Hutch special Chevrolet #45 that had been built for him by Russell D. Hill.  O’Bannon placed in third place in one race and fourth place in another race but it has yet to be determined which of the races those were.
