Jerry Everhart

of Wichita, Kansas raced this 1932 Essex sedan stock car #78 at Winfield, Kansas in 1956.  The car had a 6-cylindar Terraplane engine and was owned by the Everhart family.  On Memorial Day, May 30, 1956, Everhart finished third in the second heat and second in the A feature with this car.  For his efforts, he collected $9.50 for the heat and $62.74 for the feature for a total of $72.24.

     The ribbons at right served as Everhart's pit passes at Winfield.  The red ribbon was worn Memorial Day, 1956 while the gold ribbon was worn on July 4, 1956.
