Ellis crashed half way through the north fence.  He was able to make it to get out and run to safety so the race continued.

Kosiski lost control while passing two cars at once on the back stretch and crashed through the fence knocking down three large sections of the fence in the process.

Dake held the lead for 24½ laps in the feature before being passed by Derr who was never more than four car lengths behind.  Derr won by about one yard.  Dake tried to take the south turn too fast just after the race ended but spun backward into the fence.
