The cars lined up before the start of the first heat race on this afternoon.  That is #10 Lawrence Sinks on the pole, #6 Dale Reed on the outside of the front row, #37 Roy Bryant on the outside of the second row, and Jay Woodside on the outside of the third row with Woodside standing to the left of Bryant's car.  Starter Forrest Cox, Jr. is standing at the far left of the picture – Merrick racing program
