The cars lined up on the front straightaway for the start of the 100-lap feature race.  The only car identified in this group to date is the #7 that was driven by Warren Brown and owned by Pat O’Day, both of Emporia, Kansas – Warren Brown collection

                Cars driven by Downs and Gordon rolled over.

                Massey was involved in two crashes knocking down a section of fence in the north turn in one of them.

                Hendershot lost a wheel and crashed into the fence.

                South spun out on the 87th lap but managed to finish the race though well behind Routh.
