Moler spun in the south turn on the third lap.

Brendon Gemmill passed Powers for the lead on the front straightaway on the ninth lap and had built up a fifteen car-length lead when Moler spun again in the northeast turn on the twelfth lap.

On the restart, Brendon Gemmill struck a tractor tire marker in the south turn and fell back to fifteenth place.

Powers then held a ten car-length lead over Franz until the final caution flag on the eighteenth lap.

Powers had sped away to a fifteen car-length lead by the time that Davis moved into second place.

Only eleven cars were running at the completion of the race.

J. D. Johnson had a full straightaway lead at the end of five laps and had caught the back of the field when Hobbs spun on the front straightaway on the tenth lap.  A bolt broke in J. D. Johnson’s steering box on the sixteenth lap sending him into the northwest turn wall and then back across the racetrack collecting C. J. Johnson’s sprinter as he went.  C. J.’s car did a slow rollover after the collision which eliminated both Johnson’s cars.  Campbell led the restart followed closely by Dover.  Dover passed Campbell for the lead on the back straightaway on the twenty-first lap.  Only eight cars were running at the conclusion of the race.  White completed the race in third position but was disqualified for a left-rear tire infraction.  The right front bolt in Dover’s steering arm broke in the south turn on his cool down lap after the race was complete.  His car flipped once and landed upright on the racetrack near the crash wall in the southeast turn.
