Bud Hemphill in a Ford V8-60 in 1949.  Although this photo was taken at Tulsa, Hemphill did very well in this ride at Olympic Stadium in Kansas City that year.  The car was owned by Lee McDonald of Chickasha, Oklahoma and maintained by Hemphill.
