Ralph Foster was the Kansas State midget champion in 1940.
Durward Aloysius “D. A.” Clem was the Westside Park midget points champion in 1941.
Emmett Taylor was the Kansas State midget champion in 1939.
Eldon “Curly” Steerman was killed in World War II.
Clarence Merritt was on hand with Peaches Campbell’s #7jr Ford V8-60 but, since he resided at Chelsea, Oklahoma he was not allowed to compete. When Frankie Dickerson’s Evinrude-Elto 4-60 engine failed, he finished out the program driving the Campbell midget.
