Nance flipped his car on the first lap while going into the northwest turn (turn four). His car was heavily damaged but he was not hurt.
White was involved in a “slight mix-up” with another car about half way through the feature race. It damaged a tie-rod causing him to spin out.
Reed led the first 21 laps before he was passed by Folse.

Hutcherson led the first lap before being passed by Stott who held the lead from the second through the 37th lap. Hutcherson then led laps 38 and 39 before Stott again gained the lead. Hutcherson took the lead again on the 42nd lap and held it to the end although but with Stott right on his tail the whole way.
Eleven cars completed this race.
