Clark led this entire race although Boling stayed close behind and challenged for the top spot on several occasions.  Boyd was a close third place for much of the race before his engine went sout dropping him back to finish 100 feet behind the leader in third place.

There was also an exhibition auto polo match on the program with the “American” team defeating the “British” team 2 – 0.

* George Clark (1890-1978) and John Boling (1884-1932) have both competed in the Indianapolis “500”.
