South was leading with 15 laps remaining when he lost a rear tire and dropped out of the race.  Houdek assumed the lead but several laps later, he spun off of the track and was passed by Webster.  Houdek recovered quickly and was able to put Webster a lap down by the end of the race.  Webster was initially declared the winner but a recheck of scoring gave the victory to Houdek.

Collins lost a wheel with five laps remaining but managed to finish the race on three wheels.
