Hooker’s car was nudged from behind on the initial start of the race and spun into the muddy infield.

On the restart, Crocker’s car ran over the wheel of another car and flew high into the air coming down on the back of Brittendall’s car.  The incident knocked a large hole in the body of Brittendall’s car but Crocker’s car was undamaged.

Abell and Walker staged a good battle for the lead throughout the entire race.

Rogers was in third place until his car crashed into the cement retaining wall around the outside of the southwest turn.  Rogers was not hurt but the car was heavily damaged.
