* Jules Ellingboe (1892-1948) and George Clark (1890-1978) have both competed in the Indianapolis “500”.

** Floyd Lee Willard (1878-1952) was said to be the biggest man in auto racing at the time.  Newspaper reports list him as standing 6’ 6” tall and weighing 228 pounds although photographs suggest that may have been somewhat exaggerated.

*** Ben Giroux was an alias used by Ben Gotoff who raced professionally with IMCA from 1916 to 1922.
