Leep took the lead from Armstrong on the fourth lap and maintained it until the end.

McCutcheon was involved in a five car mix-up at the head of the front straightaway and overturned bring the race to a halt.  Two of the other cars involved in that accident were driven by Hahn and Constant.

Uehling ran in second place after the fourth lap until he crashed on the restart following the red flag on the 27th lap.

These race results are as stated in the N.C.R.A. yearbook but the Hutchinson News reported that Gary Main of Ulysses, Kansas finished in tenth place in this race.
