This was to have been the final night of an eight race series run at on the half-mile racetrack at the Kansas State Fairgrounds during May, June, and July of 1998. The races scheduled on this last program rained out and were rescheduled for October 8, 1998 to complete the promoter's contact with the state to put on eight nights of races. The final night is not believed to have counted toward the points championship however so the top ten in the final points standings for the series were:
