Dunsworth started this race from outside of the third row. He was in fourth place by the end of the first lap and in third place by the end of the second lap. He then took over second place on the fifth lap.

Rob Glasse started this race from the pole position but was passed by outside front row starter Mullens in the first corner. Mullens led the rest of the way from there. There was no passing by any of the first six finishers after the first lap.
