Wilson led early before being passed by Daniels on the seventh lap. Powers tried to pass Wilson as well but their cars hook together and slid into the outside wall in the southwest turn. Smith, who had started on the inside of the third row, took the lead from Daniels on the eighth lap and held it until the end.
