Thumper

Determined from those winning the most total points over the two days of thumper racing at the Kansas State Fair

 

Modified

A Feature Race

 Burkhart started on the pole position but his car broke a gear on the first lap.

 

 

 

Kansas State Modified Championship

Determined from those winning the most total points over the three days of modified racing at the Kansas State Fair

 

 

 

360 Sprint Car

A Feature Race - 12 Laps

 Wheeler's car lost a wheel in the north turn.  The tire flew over the fence in the northwest turn, landed about 100 feet from the racetrack and injured two people walking on the fair midway.

This race was scheduled for 15 laps but was stopped on the 12^th lap when the cars driven by Johnson and Seeman tangled with Johnson suffering serious burns in the accident.
